We are working with a growing fashion tech firm, KWI, on a Product Specialist role that could be a great fit for your background, and could be a unique opportunity to pivot into the tech industry. The role will be responsible for pre-sale demos and post-sale trainings to retail and corporate fashion teams, focused primarily on their POS and inventory management platforms. We are looking for candidates from the fashion industry who have strong operations experience, especially on the POS and inventory tech side. Deeper tech experience is not required. Based in their Roslyn (Long Island) office 3 days/week.
Job Description

Our Client Services team is growing, and looking for a rock solid Product Trainer Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and delivering internal and external training for the KWI product suite. You’ll work to identify high leverage improvements that can be made to the customer experience. You’ll partner across the organization, as well as externally, to promote a greater understanding of our products.

About the Job

  • Become a product expert in order to provide proactive and reactive consultation, support and training to clients and perspective clients.
  • Design, develop and deliver customer-focused technical support and training (including live demos for perspective clients).
  • Provide complex problem-solving services to internal and external clients.
  • Create customized analyses to showcase the functionality and unique insights to be gleaned from the Cloud 9 Mobile Point of Sale offering and associated equipment.
  • Help with installation activities at Client sites including equipment verification to assure the client site is production ready.
  • Leverage product expertise to investigate, triage and resolve issues with our products.
  • Monitor and analyze feedback and bug-related trends – prioritize and recommend strategies to influence the product development process.
  • Inform, influence, and execute new strategies and tactics using sound analysis and impact metrics to support your positions.
  • Study customer usage to make data-driven arguments that help customers be better users of MPOS and product features.
  • Possess the ability to edit and update documentation.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • You have 5+ years of retail training experience.
  • You’re passionate about technology, quality and providing excellent customer service.
  • You consider yourself to be an excellent communicator – interpersonal, written, and verbal.
  • You possess a commitment to quality-driven results.
  • You’re comfortable building relationships to solidify credibility and strengthen KWI as a partner.
  • You have experience providing consistently exceptional client responsiveness and overall service to the clients.
  • Strong PC skills with Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint experience including the ability to create high-caliber presentations.
  • Ability to consistently set and meet timelines for assignments.
  • You can travel 20% of the time.
