Job Description

As Canada’s leading clothing retailer of high-end men’s wear based in Toronto and operating in major centres across Canada, an exciting and challenging internship opportunity exists in the Merchandise Control Department at our Central Office. We are currently seeking a student to assist and support the Merchandise Control Department. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure in a well-established organization.

After training takes place, the successful candidate will work independently on a number of tasks and projects with guidance from the Buying Team:

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating styles
  • Generating Po’s
  • Checking Buyers’ worksheets against the system to ensure information is correct
  • Updating purchase orders/styles
  • Allocating to stores
  • Preparing Seasonal Swatch Books
  • Assist with running reports, as required
  • Assist with other duties, as required
  • Creating Excel spreadsheets

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a college program which has a formal internship/co-op requirement
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Administrative-related work experience is an asset
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Preference for Business Administration or Retail Management students
