Job Description

As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing processes and operational activities related to incoming, outgoing and inventory volume for SSENSE Montreal. You will ensure that the accuracy, pace and efficiency of daily inventory procedures are maintained to optimize the customer experience. You will ensure a flawless workflow by quickly identifying, communicating and resolving potential issues to provide an unparalleled customer experience. You will foster a positive work environment aligned with SSENSE brand values ​​and the achievement of key company goals.

Responsibilities

Customer experience – 20%

  • Contribute to the management of the purchasing process through the model of visits with or without appointment, including presentations, inventory management and after-sales service to ensure a flawless customer experience

Operations – 70%

  • Achieve operational goals based on dashboard metrics
  • Maximize productivity and elevate the customer experience with unit-by-hour metrics, online ordering efficiency, walk-in sales, and order movement accuracy. inventory
  • Ensure the efficiency of operational activities relating to transfers and the back office, ensuring the maintenance of the highest quality storage on site
  • Assist in operational activities relating to the appointment model as needed, be responsible for ensuring the quality that SSENSE promises to its clientele
  • Build strong relationships with warehouse staff to continually improve processes and provide unparalleled customer service
  • Contribute to loss prevention in all aspects of physical security, inventory management and transaction accuracy
  • Ensure compliance of store operational activities, health and safety standards and maintenance of company policies and protocols
  • Maintain current visual direction by identifying, communicating and ensuring the highest standards of visual presentation

Leadership – 10%

  • Help build and develop exceptional customer-focused teams
  • Encourage collaboration between inventory specialists, sales staff and support staff

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of operations management experience in retail, hospitality or luxury customer service
  • College or university degree in logistics, commerce, management or related field preferred
  • Experience with point of sale operating systems
  • Ability to lift heavy loads (15 kg)
  • Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written
  • Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office suite, the Google suite and with computers and the Web
  • Flexibility for working hours that may vary due to business demands
