Role Mission

The Executive Assistant has a fundamental role in supporting the President and Ceo of Gucci Americas to achieve and perform in terms of efficiency but also in supporting a sincere and direct relationship with internal teams and outside partners. The Executive Assistant will need to work closely with all direct reports, their assistants, and their teams, but also with Gucci’s worldwide headquarters in Italy to rapidly develop trust as the basis for an efficient collaboration.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure accurate, efficient, and smooth high-level administrative support to President;
  • Develop and maintain efficient reporting, keep accurate and up to date information, prepare documentation and support the overall operations of the President’s office to ensure efficiency;
  • Support the President in ensuring quality internal and external communication, and follow ups;
  • Lead the ideation and operational planning of corporate engagement initiatives as well as retail related events;
  • Arranges all travel and accommodations as needed;
  • Scheduling of all meetings on behalf of President, attending meetings as needed;
  • Ad hoc and personal support, continuous self-improvement.

Key Requirements

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, with a minimum 4 years supporting the President/Ceo, in a multinational company, ideally within the Luxury industry;
  • Experience of at least 4 years as an Executive Assistant supporting a President/Ceo in a multinational company, ideally within the Luxury industry;
  • Previous Project Management experience of at least 3 years could qualify as well;
  • Excellent mastering of all administrative tools, digital works, and essential software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, browsers, etc.);
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills; able to establish trust and respect with all levels of employees;
  • Accountability/credibility, able to always perform highly accountable work style with a strong sense of confidentiality linked to the function, attention to details and compliance;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to produce/write text that is in line with luxury company standard expectations;
  • Strong work ethic;
  • Able to multi-task, work at a fast pace with total accuracy and efficiency in support of the President/Ceo;
  • Flexible, adaptable and reliable;
  • Extremely well organized and structured;
  • Able to anticipate needs and provide the highest quality of service;
  • Good at teamwork and able to communicate with all company leaders and their teams.
