Job Description

Manage national media team and assist with the development, planning, and implementation of annual print & digital communications for all national media campaigns. Ongoing support includes leading digital media campaigns, national print strategy, building presentation materials, maintaining budgets and billing, competitive analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate is an advertising professional who is fluent in all media channels both online and offline.

Main accountabilities/objective of the position

  • Media Strategy: Manage Cartier North America’s annual national media plan
  • Assist in leading the integrated media strategy for North American market
  • Manage and develop media briefing, planning and implementation across display, paid social, print and Tv (if applicable)
  • Proven experience managing budgets in an efficient manner on major platforms
  • Manage media and creative agency relationships to ensure all parties are working towards the common goal and business objectives
  • Evaluate media campaigns and programs to pull together clear conclusions and actionable recommendations for future campaigns
  • Optimize active digital campaigns to achieve optimal success as measured by standard digital KPIs (CTR, CPM, CPCs)

Liaise with cross functional teams on all creative allocations and priorities, rationalizing

  • local needs as they relate to messaging, content and copy
  • Responsible for succinctly and effectively explaining complex media concepts and championing them across key stakeholders
  • Budgets & Billing
  • Manage national digital media campaign and print budgets
  • Oversee invoicing process
  • Oversee all internal campaign spend documents
  • Team Documents & Materials
  • Strong presentation skills and building of presentation materials to clearly communicate and visualize campaign recaps, media plans, budgets, competitive trends and performance reports is a must
  • Understanding of Asana, Smartsheet and general invoicing programs/software is preferred

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a background in marketing, consumer behavior or analysis is preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in media/advertising.
  • Fluent in all media channels across online & offline. Tv buying/strategy experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a luxury or retail is a plus.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment. High attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of current media advertising landscape and a passion for marketing.
  • Expert Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat, and major graphic/video file formats is a plus.
  • Experience with Windows OS.

Must be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment where self-sufficiency is essential.

Expected base salary range: $82,000 to $120,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience
