Job Purpose:

The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. The Merchandising Corporate Trainee will assist the Merchandising team in the buying, planning, and allocation for all Dior boutiques in North America. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results, and present plans to Executive Leadership Team. The role will be offered an hourly rate of $20/hr, plus eligibility to participate in the Company’s medical benefit plan.

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Update weekly, monthly and picture-selling reports
• Prepare product knowledge information and sales tools for boutiques
• Monitor stock and new launches deliveries from Paris
• Compile weekly stock consolidations
• Support stock movement for events and roadshows
• Assist with boutiques’ stock request and track with Paris to ensure timely delivery
• Assist stores with High Jewelry logistics and transfers to Paris
• Facilitate communications between the corporate office and our boutiques
• Create competitive analysis
• Any other tasks as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Full-time, 6 Month Program
• Must be available M-F, 9-6pm
• Strong communications skills both verbal and written
• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy
• Excellent follow-through practices
• Superior analytical capabilities
• Strong time management skills and prioritization with the ability to work under specific timelines and fast-paced environments
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g. V-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, sum Ifs, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of all other Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word & Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to learn quickly and retain processes
