Overview:
The Director, Style Merchandising is a newly created role that will help establish a stronger “style” point of view for the David Yurman brand. This employee would be responsible for identifying Women’s and Men’s style trends for the various target customer groups in the David Yurman customer portfolio. This trend information will help guide the Merchant team on seasonal product briefs to Design and would work hand in hand with the product designers on the look and feel or “trend driven” groups.
The Director, Style Merchandising will also work closely with the DY brand team (Heads of Digital, Marketing, Creative, and Visual) to help direct styling for on-figure site and social content that is in line with the vision for the brand’s 360-degree programming, as well as participate in creating in-store visual merchandising strategies and styling seasonal window displays. This style content may be expressed across the universe of the brand’s touchpoints, including global and local advertising, direct mail, site, social media, etc.
