Job Description

Overview:

As the E-Commerce Product Manager, you will be responsible for executing the end-to-end consumer and digital roadmap supporting David Yurman’s digital transformation. The eCommerce Product Manager drives the vision, strategy, and roadmap while using data and insights to ensure optimal consumer experience and prioritization of business needs. Develop and facilitate the implementation of product strategies consistent with the company vision. This role will also serve as the liaison between the different technical teams across other DY applications, business development managers and executives, as well as various major stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with various business and technical stakeholders to establish a long-term vision, strategy, and execute the roadmap for the David Yurman digital business
  • Collaborate with the Director of Commerce Cloud in translating business objectives into roadmap strategy with clear prioritization and “size of prize” identified
  • Create robust user stories, establish acceptance criteria, manage tickets and work with cross-functional teams during the grooming process
  • Prioritize the backlog with the technical team and participate in development ceremonies including standups, planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives
  • Participate in UAT, provide go/no go decisions for releases and manage features/fixes within the release. Execute business validation upon release and communicate with the broader team regarding enhancements and fixes.
  • Deep understanding of Agile or lean best practices and testing methodologies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners such as the e-Commerce, Marketing, Store Operations, Creative, and CRM as well as other technical teams, to gather, review, and prioritize requirements
  • Managed a team of Product and QA Analysts to deliver new site features and functionalities
  • Liaise with teams across the organization and manage relationships with business partners and third party vendors
  • Coordinate change management with key stakeholders and maintain documentation of product features
  • Identify new opportunities based on research, industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years professional E-Commerce experience required, preferably in a multi-channel retail environment
  • Experience in implementing new features and functionalities on an e-commerce platform, preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Good understanding of web design and web analytics, preferably Google Analytics
  • Strong project, analytical, communication and time management skills
  • An entrepreneurial attitude with a strong sense of reliability and ownership
  • The ability to focus on a problem at hand while considering the company’s long-term strategy
  • Experience using/generating data to guide decision making
  • The ability to work in a changing environment and be able to deal with ambiguity and bring clarity to teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication and ability to simplify complex technical solutions for human consumption and training as needed

Preferred:

  • Proven track record of launching products that have real business and customer impact
  • Experience working with enterprise applications, mobile, web, and/or back-end application development environment
  • Experience working with an issue tracking system and/or workflow management tools like JIRA or Confluence

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or IT Systems related fields
