Job Description

The Operations Assistant will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of Huntsman’s pied-à-terre in New York City. The ideal candidate will be someone energetic and tech-savvy, passionate about the brand and happy to work in a close-knit team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing the company’s Salesforce database, including data entry, updating records, and running reports.
  • Execute both inbound and outbound shipping processes by coordinating with production teams, ensuring accurate labelling, and monitoring delivery schedules.
  • Receive, unpack and distribute all inbound supply, DDU and DDP shipments, and take charge of all packing and shipping client and trunk show garments via FedEx.
  • Assist with production processes, including tracking inventory, maintaining production schedules, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors.
  • Accurately action trunk show projects by ensuring all orders are linked to the relevant date and location, with accurately confirmed appointments.
  • Support the retail team by managing sales data, monitoring inventory, and coordinating with the sales team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform quarterly stock take for all relatable items, such as archives, RTW and cloth.
  • Maintain knowledge of all collaborating mills/merchants and understand each distinct offering of their cloths/materials and pricing.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.
  • Manage the US operations dashboard – ensuring all reports are accurate and no unnecessary overdue tasks.
  • Collaborate with other members of the operations team to identify areas to improve and then implement the changes seamlessly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain merchandising standards by assuring the store remains in line with brand identity.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding activities.

Desired:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of luxury brands and products.
