Overview:

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Retail Recruiter to join the Human Resources team. This individual will report to the Sr. Director, Human Resources and be based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.

The Retail Recruiter will support the full lifecycle recruitment process for retail positions inclusive of new store openings, key projects, and seasonal hiring. They will represent Marc Jacobs in providing a positive and seamless candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee retail job postings, sourcing talent, conducting & scheduling interviews, and creating offer letters
  • Drive a consistent screening and evaluation process for all candidates
  • Participate in meetings with the hiring manager to determine candidate profile, recruiting strategy, and hiring process logistics
  • Develop innovative external candidate sourcing strategies through various channels: networking through industry contacts, recruitment technology and hiring events; build a diverse talent pipeline
  • Promote diverse recruitment strategies to ensure talent pipeline is inclusive of all backgrounds, cultures, and experiences
  • Leverage the applicant tracking system to maximize quality of applicant flow
  • Collaborate with Retail & HR teams on identifying trends in market to attract top talent and recommend innovative strategies to enhance processes and elevate the candidate experience
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for current and future needs
  • Utilizes relevant metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness of sourcing tools and strategies
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed throughout recruitment process

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role with a focus on retail recruitment
  • Prior experience working in a retail setting strongly preferred
  • Proven skills in high volume retail recruitment across all levels including store openings
  • Solid understanding of retail Talent Acquisition and recruitment best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills with a focus on internal and external customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, HRIS systems) to gather, interpret, organize and present data
  • Passionate about DE&I in sourcing and implementing candidate attraction strategies
  • Sound judgment and critical thinking skills; successful management of multiple projects and competing priorities while balancing the needs for quality with meeting deadlines
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills; evidence of self-motivation; demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and work both independently and in teams within a service-oriented organization
  • Must be able to travel to retail locations

Salary & Benefits/What We Offer:

The annual compensation for this position ranges from $100,000-$120,000 plus bonus.The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
