Job Description

Reporting to: Corporate Communications Manager.

As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role within the communications team and the business at large by fostering transparency and promoting the corporate culture at our various locations. You will participate in the drafting of a variety of clear and concise internal communications in English and French in order to transmit any important information in an efficient manner to all of our staff at the head office, the store and the distribution centers. The ideal person demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of corporate communications in addition to being perfectly bilingual.


Planning and implementation (25%)

  • Support strategy and communications for special projects ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and agree on timelines
  • Participate in the development of a cross-functional communications calendar in which all planned communications, required and available resources, and confirmations of receipt of communications will be carefully listed
  • Ensure that internal communications guidelines are strictly followed within the company to maintain consistency between channels and various communications

Corporate Communications (25%)

  • Support the Corporate Communications Manager with follow-up on requests received regarding invitations to speak in front of external audiences (conferences, panels, various events, etc.) to support project planning and required capabilities

Internal Communications (50%)

  • Support the Corporate Communications Manager with the coordination of quarterly company-wide meeting presentations and any other internal events to provide a premium experience for our staff
  • Contribute to the launch of new internal communications initiatives to engage and inform staff at all our locations
  • Write a variety of multi-channel internal communications in English and French (email communications, monthly newsletters, presentations) with a special effort for our distribution center staff regarding tone, audience and communications expertise
  • Revise and translate internal documents into French such as communications and policies of various kinds, thus ensuring the exact tone and maintaining high quality standards
  • Manage the bilingual content of dynamic digital displays for all our establishments


  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, translation or a related field
  • A minimum of three years of experience in English-French translation and localization
  • Experience in internal or corporate communications within growing diverse companies
  • Proficiency in grammar, spelling and usage of English and French and ability to write texts with consideration of cultural sensitivities
  • Excellent knowledge of the Google suite
  • Experience with Photoshop, an asset
