Overview

The Expeditor is responsible for all administrative functions within the Service Department and providing support to the Service Manager and Service/Sales Professional. Ultimately helping to ensure the department runs smoothly.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

• Maintain all data in service program.
• Evaluate completeness of service tickets and if needed, return tickets to Service or Sales Professionals to be corrected.
• Determine where the watch is to be sent for service and update service program.
• Prepare watches for shipment to the appropriate repair facilities and update service program. This includes taking pictures or photocopies of watches and assigning insurance value for shipping purposes.
• Enter all manufacturer and store estimates into service program.
• Respond to all notifications and escalations, following up as needed with Tourneau Service Facilities, manufacturers or the internal Watch Technician.
• As needed, process special orders and works with the Service Manager to arrange for the transfer of accessories between stores.
• Follow-up with Tourneau service facilities and manufactures on the status of repairs and special orders. Provide this information to the Service Manager or Service/Sales Professional to communicate to the clients.
• Receive repaired watches into the Service Department and update service program. Verify that all requested work was performed and transfer watch to the Watch Technician for final quality control inspection.
• If the repaired watch is received from a manufacturer’s service facility, prepare the invoice for the Service Manager’s approval and then forward to Accounts Payable.
• Support the manager in the securing of watches in the Service Department.
• As needed, provide short-term coverage at the service counter.

• Must have a polished and professional appearance with a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated
• A willingness to learn and master product information.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule throughout the week.
• A team player.

Qualificiations

• The ideal candidate must have at least 1-2 years of work experience preferably with a focus on using computers and data entry.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Bi-lingual language proficiency is a plus to cater to our international customer base.
