Job Description

Your Role

As a Financial Systems Manager, you’ll enhance existing business applications, implement new initiatives, and work with IT, Merchant, Planning, and Inventory Management teams. You’ll report to the Financial Systems Director to support system end-users and promote a self-service strategy. You and the team will work remotely.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage NMG’s robust portfolio of financial applications with the approach of a business product owner
  • Team leadership to resolve production issues, system maintenance, audits, and process documentation
  • Orchestrate Accounting Book Closure processes while ensuring data integrity and accuracy between financials and downstream reporting
  • Create solutions to resolve existing business process opportunities by documenting, designing, and implementing process improvements
  • Influence the team’s approach to internal customer support
  • Lead frequent knowledge-sharing and training opportunities with business allies
  • Develop strategies to enhance the team’s skills, including communication and analytical capabilities

What You Bring

  • An advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management Systems or equivalent
  • Strong technical and financial background with 5 or more years of experience
  • A curiosity about technology and new tools that improve the workplace
  • Experience developing complex SQL reporting and data analysis
  • Knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud Suite (Planning – EPBCS, ARCS, FCCS, Tax) and project management
  • Prior ownership as system administrator of ERP platforms, such as Oracle
