Main Job Objective

The Manager plays a pivotal role in Global Operational Marketing team and this position will lead all aspects of operational marketing initiatives, providing brand support including day-to-day management while meeting long-term growth objectives.

The position partners closely with Global teams and Local teams, ensuring excellence in the execution of Global Marketing and Global Retail within the Southeast Asia (SEA) and Korea markets. As a champion of building relationships, the Manager will proactively improve collaboration, communication, and effectiveness to meet both global and local business needs, to promote sharing of diverse knowledge, skills, and experiences with the local market teams as well as global team’s cross functional partners.


  • Lead the communication with SEA and Korea teams to ensure a strategic and synergized marketing calendar and go-to-market plan which align with global strategy
  • Full ownership on competitive landscape in SEA and Korea markets and turning insights into actionable plans for consumer engagement and business initiatives
  • Identify market trends and opportunities, maintain awareness of competitive activity in SEA and Korea markets
  • Ensure local teams connect their short-term marketing execution plans to the long-term brand strategy
  • Partner with local teams on post campaign learnings and drive influential improvement for future campaigns
  • Drive SEA and Korea relevant assets based on needs, market trends, consumer insights – collaborate with global partners on the campaign deliverables
  • Work with Global Retail team to develop education, retail experience, and visual merchandising strategy for campaigns and on-going practices
  • Manage strategic projects based on business or tactical needs (e.g. competitive studies, assortment strategy, retail sales analysis etc.)


What you will learn in the first 6 months?

Build and foster relationships with cross functional partners in global and local teams

Develop deep understanding of the global strategy and go-to-market execution, inclusive of both the long-term vision as well as mid-term / short-term goals and activation

What you will achieve in 12 months?

You will become the expert of the local markets, representing their needs and serving as their voice in Global team. You will see influential results in successful campaigns, application of new initiatives and process improvement, on both global and local teams.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; MBA highly preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a global business development role
  • Previous experience working with Asian markets and in Travel Retail required
  • Fluency in Mandarin required
  • Excellent business acumen and analytical skills
  • Results-oriented & ability to make fast decisions and necessary corrective actions
  • Commercial knowledge acquired from previous experiences in managing key accounts, trade marketing or field role
  • Excellent knowledge of the retail skincare industry and consumer behaviors
  • Superb communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with various business partners effectively and to manage by influence
  • Highly resourceful and flexible with the ability to problem solve in a timely manner
  • Strives for excellence in execution
