Job Description

Your Mission & Responsibilities Ahead Of You

The Wholesale Manager is directly responsible for monitoring and driving sales by ensuring the proper assortment in each location and developing strong relations with wholesale accounts. The Wholesale Manager is responsible for managing close relationships with merchandising, marketing, retail, logistics and customer service teams to manage the daily business and ensure that GANNI’s image is appropriately represented. This person will report to the Director of Wholesale North America, overseeing all categories of the business.

Responsibilities ahead of you:

Sales Campaigns

  • Work with HQ and NY teams to organize, set up, and conduct seasonal sales campaigns for North American wholesale accounts
  • Work in partnership with each client during market appointments, helping them to assort the correct product mix that is aligned with their business needs and GANNI’s brand image
  • Partner with the Marketing teams to allocate and organize compelling marketing initiatives with key partners
  • Review client orders, make suggestions in line with the brand strategy and adheres to the forecasted budgets
  • Create and nurture a business partnership of exceptional quality with each client, representing GANNI with integrity and enthusiasm

Market and Product Analysis

  • Manage the day-to-day sales activity for all wholesale accounts
  • Monitor competitive landscape within the region, and distribution changes and provide constant feedback to the Wholesale Director and merchandising teams

  • Update all weekly selling reports (fiscal sales, style selling, budget logs, and market share reports)
  • Closely manage and monitor in-season selling to identify reorder opportunities or inventory liabilities; devise and implement initiatives in partnership with wholesale clients to increase rates of sale
  • Perform comprehensive in-season and EOS analysis prior to market appointments
  • Work in partnership with logistics and finance teams on the ordering process from entry to delivery of finished goods
  • Actively follow industry and seasonal trends while also having a strong understanding of the competitive landscape

Product Training

  • Prepares presentations for store training and monthly focus products
  • Travel to stores to conduct product knowledge seminars and to learn more about the specific product needs of each market
  • Partner with Visual Merchandisers to ensure the brand is properly represented within each market

Trunk shows/Events

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and support creative selling events and trunk shows. Suggest strategies to set and meet targets for events.
  • Monitor merchandise deliveries pre/post-event follow through on all client orders
  • Act as an ambassador to stores and partners during events, providing product knowledge and enforcing brand ideals and aesthetics

Must Have Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in wholesale (fashion)
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, multitasking and prioritizing capabilities
  • Attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills’ must be comfortable with public speaking and presenting.
  • Proficient in MS excel, powerpoint, skypad, Joor, nuorder
  • An expert in data analytics and sales reporting
  • Vast knowledge of retail math
  • Must be team oriented with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Frequent domestic travel required
