Job Description

The Vice President-Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (Dei) is responsible for leading the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion function including development of the global strategy providing services, solutions and connections to enable a more engaged workforce, mirror the markets we serve, and best position our teams to leverage De&I to create a culture of luxury and performance.

This role is also responsible for all diversity, equity and inclusion programs and initiatives, Employee Resource Groups, consulting with internal and external customers and partners, building De&I capability internally within Hr and key partner stakeholders (Sustainability, Brand, Pr).

Responsibilities

De&I Strategy & Capability Building

  • External De&I consulting and capability building with key organizational stakeholders (Sustainability, Brand, Pr, Supply Chain)
  • Lead cross functional opportunities related to external benchmarking, communication and external commitment
  • Align De&I strategy and building capability in their respective organizations, spanning workplace, marketplace, community and partners
  • Ensure that the De&I strategies are aligned with tiffany’s overall Sustainability platform and leveraged to promote the business and generate innovation and is consistent with Tiffany’s identity as an American Luxury Brand
  • Consult with internal partners, aligning De&I strategy and capability in their respective organizations, (Internal Communications, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Hr Business Partners, Talent organization)
  • Ensure oversight and alignment of stakeholders to ensure that De&I project goals are achieved

Inspirational Program Leadership

  • Lead the governance and management of Tiffany’s Employee Resource Group (Erg) program (Currently: 4 Ergs, 12 chapters, Erg leadership team of @90) Ergs are charged with being a resource to the business and a catalyst for the culture
  • Create a D&I community through the leadership of an emerging talent development program to bring innovative solutions and pilots for De&I initiatives, drive De&I engagement through multiple stakeholders and develop D&I best practices
  • Drive Inclusive Leadership through the development of company/regional/functional action plans for diversity and inclusion – work with local stakeholders (Hr Business Partners and leaders) to develop regional/functional strategies
  • Partner with Talent Analytics to utilize metrics for stakeholder adoption, benchmarking enhancements, and continuous improvements
  • Promote a Culture of Inclusion through communication and engagement, in alignment with company strategic priorities and Sustainability Goals
  • Propose and manage Hr training needs of own team and clients in North America

Team Leadership

  • Provide inspirational leadership and invest in the performance, careers, development and well-being of two direct reports, the Erg community, De&I project leads across Hr, and their extended teams and matrixed partners.

Qualifications

  • Successful track record of developing, launching and measuring effective De&I strategies, programs and networks
  • Trusted advisor with the ability to influence while building and maintaining trust
  • Proven experience effectively managing stakeholders in an organization/company
  • Demonstrated ability to affect organizational change
  • Leader in driving results within the business and Hr
  • Ability to manage conflict, remain flexible, resilient and positive
  • Experience integrating De&I in a global scale
