Job Description

As a member of the Global Assortment Planning team within the Supply Chain organization, this Manager is responsible for assortment and space planning for all Tiffany & Co. products to maximize sales for the Eastern markets. He/she will have shared accountability for Region-specific performance matching the Region.

The Manager uses predictive analytics and store typologies to set dynamic and localized assortments for all stores and wholesale. He/she executes productive distribution plans and ensures efficient retail space to support the assortment to enhance the customer experience and drive sales, turn, and sales by pad.

The Manager sets initial new product distribution plans and partners with the zone management teams to communicate new product news.

The Manager supports the growth of a trusted partnership with the Region leader and zone merchandising counterpart, helping to provide consistent, shared analytics and ensuring an effective feedback loop.

Next-generation assortment planning

  • Apply Ai and client centric store typologies to all stores in region; leverage store typology to create balance store assortment in conjunction with Ai, that helps reach regional potential while balancing turn requirement and customer experience goals
  • Support the integration of new planning tools and drive innovation on current processes.
  • Communicate main changes to central Merchandising teams
  • Manage the disposition strategy of discontinued merchandising in collaboration with category and regional merchants, maximizing sell-through and inventory reduction
  • Support Trade assortment planning for region with strategic guidance and partnership of zone merchandising counterparts

New product introduction

  • Communicate central Merchandising approach clearly and early to the Region leader on key initiatives
  • Oversee Power of New communication tool as a centralized way to create awareness of new product introductions with retail teams.
  • Set new product assortment based on known market specifics for region and brand strategy, drive reviews post launch
  • Inform, convince, then listen to regional feedback

Collaboration with Region

  • Ensure consistent product dashboards across the world; provide business reporting and analysis to region leader; run additional analysis in collaboration with zone merchandising as needed
  • Review assortment requests from region; ensure all assortments requests approved by country leader or Mvp and aligned with merchandising partner
  • Ensure feedback loops from the business: support preparation for Merchandising reviews with region leader and zone merchandising counterpart, act on callouts from monthly calls, and competitive reviews
  • Expect regular weekly early/late conference calls with regional merchandising partners

Leadership and staffing

  • Develop management and professional staff to be result-driven, self-started, and curious and aligned to the Tiffany competency model
  • Drive alignment of strategic and operational objectives and their communication through appropriate departments
  • Drive productive collaboration throughout the organization
  • Ensure clarity and simplicity of collaboration model with regions on reporting and Kpi’s

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of business experience with at least 3+ years in management
  • College degree
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate productively and ability to lead in a team environment
  • Strong decision-making skills with demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Operational excellence
  • Self-motivation with a strong drive for achievement
  • Agility and comfort in working in a highly dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Ms Excel and core planning apps
