Job Description

The Manager, Cvm Communications and Training is responsible for the overall strategy development of Cvm Communications and Training content to all internal key business stakeholders and global retail teams. He/She ensures a direct and unified voice in all developed content that clearly defines the Cvm message and achieves the business need as defined by the organization.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and deploy a 360 strategy for all commuinication, training and multifaceted Cvm initiatives that ensures business need alignment and timely deliverables.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and act as a liason to Cvm Design, Visual Merchandising, Planning, Production, and Operations to ensure proper flow of information and understand all project deliverables.
  • Oversee master 360 project calendar that ensures adherance to overall project timelines and clearly communicates critical project milestones and touch points.
  • Resource plan for all current and future projects to ensure the communications and training team has all assets needed to deliver on time, to standard projects.

Communication:

  • Develop and execute an integrated, department wide internal communications strategy that aligns with Tiiffany & Co. organizational goals as well as current and future needs of the business.
  • Oversee the design, development and deployment of all Cvm documents ensuring alignment with the Cvm strategic communications plan.
  • Identify gaps and communication opportunities within the department and define and execute new strategies to support them.
  • Pioneer and champion new communication channels, forums and mediums to increase Cvm Communications audience engagement and interaction.

Training:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of a department wide training strategy that is aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Has oversight into the design, development and deployment of all Cvm training materials, documents, videos and hands on trainings.
  • Assesses all business needs and feedback from key stakeholders to determine needed training materials and resources to drive adoption of Cvm initiatives and best practices.
  • Define and identify internal/external training opportunities and work to provide strategic solutions to support them.

Leadership:

  • Manage, coach and develop direct report(s) within both the communication and training verticals
  • Mentor direct report(s) to ensure optimal team dynamics while promoting individual career growth and development.
  • Ensure individual development plans align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead and inspire direct report(s) by promoting new ideas, uplifting fellow team mates and encouraging authenticity of self within the group and organization.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years experience communication, visual communication or visual merchandising (preferably luxury retail).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills.
  • Advanced capabilities in Adobe creative suite- InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.
  • basic knowledge of photography and photo editing.
  • Ambitious, flexible, out-going, enthusiastic.
  • Able to work cross-functionally to present ideas and information to group.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable in and appreciative of a luxury retail setting.
  • Basic knowledge of jewelry and jewelry display a plus.
