We are currently seeking a Public Relations Assistant who will report to the PR Manager. Your Opportunity The PR Assistant will assist with logistics for all collection requests, pre-collection requests, high-res image requests, and credit request under the supervision of the PR Coordinator. This role will oversee the packing, sending and return of all samples in a precise, accurate and timely manner. The PR Assistant will also oversee the PR intern(s) under the supervision of the PR Coordinator. Additionally, the PR Assistant will be responsible for the administrative duties of the PR office including, finance, supply replenishment and office organization.

How You Will Contribute

• Timely, thorough and accurate communication regarding menswear and pre-collection sample requests, hi-res image requests and credit requests
• Timely packing, sending and return and credit requests
• Training interns to assist PR office with daily logistic needs
• Oversee receipt of sample orders
• Oversee showroom organization
  • Checking state of returned samples
  • Making sure samples are organized and marked to the correct region
  • Making sure showroom is clean and organized at the end of each day

• Weekly press reviews
• Monthly magazine collection
• Timely petty cash and invoice submission
• Keeping office stocked with sample trafficking materials
• Organizing appointments for friends and family sales
• Organizing appointments for pre-collection press days

Who You Are

• Bachelor degree with major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related disciplines
• 2 years’ experience in the fashion industry, preferably in marketing, public relations or related disciplines
• Working knowledge of fashion media
• Working knowledge of luxury industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, proactive, detail-minded and resourceful
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Ability to work occasional early mornings, late nights and weekends
