What This Position is All About:

As a Merchandise Processor, you will be responsible for unboxing and preparing merchandise from various vendors, picking orders and preparing them for shipment, and fulfilling orders and preparing packages for online orders.

Who You Are:

• This is a hourly position that works independently but can easily assist team members as needed
• The hours for this position is Friday-Sunday 6am-6pm

As a Merchandise Processor, you will:

• Performs all functions of the department including processing, material handling, and problem resolution.
• Follows direction in maintaining standard operating procedures.
• Ability to achieve productivity measurements within the department.
• Prioritize to achieve daily goals
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Have a customer and team focused attitude

You Also Have:

• High School Degree or Ged required
• Must have an understanding of English language and be able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Receive new merchandise shipments, process and pick orders as needed, prepare merchandise for store shipment or online shipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Dependable, work with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent organizational and efficiency skills
• Work well under pressure and time constraints
• The incumbent is required to have sustainable physical requirements including but not limited to: standing for long periods of time (up to 10 hours), push, pull, lift cartons up to 50 lbs repeatedly, bending, stooping, climbing ladders or stairs repeatedly,
• Must be able to hear equipment and warning signals
• Be able to operate manual pallet jack
