Job Description

Reporting to the Team Lead, the Senior Coordinator, Studio Inbound/Outbound is responsible for orchestrating the efficient flow of goods in and out of the studio according to inventory success metrics across ready-to-wear, accessories, and everything else categories. Through overseeing resources, workflows, and processes, the Senior Coordinator, Studio Inbound/Outbound will supervise the execution of merchandise flow and quality care of items, from the arrival of products in the studio to their return to stock. As a merchandise expert, they will work closely with all studio functions and the warehouse, to ensure the studio meets production objectives in alignment with Ssense operational performance targets and inventory quality standards.

Responsibilities

Merchandise Management – 70%

  • Plan workload distribution for a team of studio assistants by creating work schedules according to production volumes and inventory management tasks
  • Monitor the receipt and return of products to and from the warehouse and report to the Team Lead on key performance metrics, as it relates to inbound volume, shipment accuracy, and inventory quality standards
  • Plan the workflow for customer orders from studio stock, ensuring productivity targets, Slas and production objectives are met
  • Liaise between stock receiving and ecommerce studio production to establish effective communication of updates
  • Establish quality control best practices to maintain inventory management standards
  • Develop care and handling guidelines for all incoming and outgoing studio merchandise in adherence to health and safety requirements and best practices
  • Implement and support business initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and support loss prevention by ensuring 5S strategy is maintained
  • Track supply requirements and communicate any departmental needs to Team Lead monthly (including merchandise supplies, racks, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate performance visibility by overseeing the quality of the data entry and ensuring inventory metric dashboards are updated
  • Identify improvement opportunities within our current resource allocation to standardize and optimize stock flow

Training and Development – 20%

  • Assist the Team Lead with onboarding related tasks and provide training tools to a capable and talented team of Studio Assistants
  • Maintain and improve the knowledge base through standard, concise and relevant documentation

Continuous Improvement – 10%

  • Implement business initiatives to improve daily operations, productivity, communication and ways of working as it relates to production processes and stock management best practices

Qualifications

  • College or University diploma in Fashion Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years experience in coordination or logistics within a fashion or e-commerce environment
  • Knowledge of textiles and garment care, an asset
  • Experience working with apparel, an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
  • Knowledge of WMS systems, an asset
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, an asset
  • Must be open to working evenings and weekends as required
  • Ability to walk 5 km per day with equipment and/or stand for extended periods, when required
