Job Description

Reporting:

Manage the timely cadence and distribution of accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual performance reporting. Apply exploratory analysis to develop relevant and thorough business performance commentary to accompany reporting, providing visibility into key business drivers and qualitative insights. Maintain accurate reporting variables and mapping references linked to product attributes and sales Kpis.

Partner with team and management on ad-hoc reporting analysis and presentation needs as necessary to support strategic decision-making. Proactively seek to identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting optimization.

Lead updates of licensed sales reporting; Support price impact analysis

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Lead successful collaboration and effective communication across multiple organizational levels and functional areas. Contribute willingly to team initiatives and departmental goals.
  • Function as subject matter expert for department reporting and analysis. Demonstrate sincere interest and ownership of assigned projects. Identify opportunities for improvement and propose solutions to challenges independently.

Advanced Analytics:

  • Leverage exploratory, quantitative & qualitative analytical skills to identify and interpret trends.
  • Apply expertise in working with large volumes of data (including modeling, transforming, and mapping) for master data segmentation, reporting & visualization programs, and tools (notably Business Objects & Power Bi).
  • Leverage data storytelling to convey business narratives beyond numbers.
  • Creatively support the advancement of performance reporting interpretation and adoption across the immediate team & cross functional partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and or quantitative discipline (i.e., economics, statistics, finance, data science/analysis)
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role involving business, sales, financial or trend analysis
  • Mastery of the English language for business commentary compilation
  • Clarity in communication, both verbal and written
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, etc.)
  • Superior quantitative analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Fundamental understanding of retail math concepts

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Business Objects
  • Data visualization and storytelling skills
  • Functional understanding of foundational statistics
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Power Query and or Power Bi
