Reporting to: Japanese Content Manager

As a Quality Assurance and Training Specialist in Digital Commerce, Japanese Content and Localization, you will be responsible for conducting training needs assessments, designing and delivering training sessions, and producing materials learning and manage all stages of training. You will have full responsibility for quality assurance of production content, execution of training, performing processing audits and continuous improvement programs related to quality and trainings in order to achieve a operational excellence and production growth. You will be expected to foster a positive work environment that reflects Ssense’s principles and mission to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

Training and quality assurance (60%)

  • Manage Product Description Training (Pdp) sessions based on production and capability requirements
  • Perform onboarding and provide technical and soft skills training to content and localization staff
  • Evaluate, design and develop engaging and meaningful training and materials programs and materials surrounding onboarding, translation skills development and technical knowledge as per company growth, business objectives and character seasonality of our production
  • Create a robust documentation system, Pdp content training matrix and auditing process to ensure best performance against time, quality and quantity targets
  • Ensure that training and development documents and processes are up to date and maintained on an ongoing basis
  • Deploy and standardize product description quality and capability dashboards and quality control methods to monitor and improve training results and performance
  • Support learning, training and ad-hoc product development as needed
  • Provide timely coaching and feedback

Continuous improvement (30%)

  • Optimize Pdp content training materials and develop processes to reduce the learning curve and ensure positive training outcomes
  • Collaborate with analysts to identify issues, proactively propose solutions and continuously improve guides and training sessions for the team
  • Work with the digital commerce team to improve the efficiency and quality of the freelancer directory
  • Provide timely and relevant feedback between freelancers and the full-time digital commerce team to create an effective feedback loop

Capacity and team building (10%)

  • Update testing materials and improve hiring procedures
  • Helping Assistant Managers build and nurture a robust inventory through hiring, talent retention, and team skills development
  • Support the manager in ensuring team mobilization and creating a work environment that promotes communication, collaboration and healthy productivity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of three years of training or quality assurance experience in a content production environment
  • Mastery of Japanese grammar, spelling and usage
  • Strong communication skills in English and Japanese, both spoken and written
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of fashion or multi-channel marketing an asset
