Where to find applications
New applications for your job postings can be found either from your dashboard or by clicking the applications tab in your job post. You will also receive an email for each application, including a link to view (if you opted when posting). We have built several important features to help you manage applications and simplify your search.
Application Status Pipeline (New -> Consider -> Meet -> Hired, Rejected)
New – Applications start in this default status and remain here until you make a status selection.
Consider – Indicates you are considering the applicant but have not yet decided to Meet or Reject.
Meet – Indicates that you intend to communicate with this candidate to explore their background further.
Hired – Indicates that you have offered and hired the candidate. It is very helpful for us to know this information, as we often meet candidates through referral and want to be able to thank the person who referred.
Rejected – Indicates that you are not interested in this applicant. There are several rejection reason choices that you can choose, but this is optional. We do however encourage you to provide a reason when possible – candidates really appreciate this and it helps us keep our candidate community engaged with our employer partners.
Status changes can be made from the applications list or the application details page.
Click the “Notes” button from the application list or application details to make private notes about the application to remember for later.
Applications can be saved for later by clicking the save button from the application details page. This is a good practice when you find a candidate who has a good background for a potential future role, but you’re not yet ready to engage.
Click the share button from the application details page to share the application with another party (like an internal business partner). When you share an application, the viewer will have access to change the status and update notes, but will not have access to your full account, job details, or other applications. (We are working on a future feature for multiple account users within the same company. If this would be helpful for you, please let us know.)
Click the “Email Applicant” button to send a message to the candidate. You can set the “reply-to”, CC, and BCC addresses as desired. All applications include full contact details, so you can of course choose to contact the applicant via another method of your choice.
