Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure customer satisfaction, drive sales performance, maximize productivity and profitability, and ensure compliance with company procedures within the store. This role oversees client advisors, cashiers and support staff and contributes to visual presentation, inventory control and execution of company initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support Store Manager in recruiting, retention, supervision and development of store personnel
- Supervise daily goals and tasks of Client Advisors, Cashiers and Support Staff
- Monitor sales floor and zone coverage to drive sales and maintain customer focus
- Manage sales performance, shrink and controllable expenses including payroll
- Own client data and analytics and help implement strategies to exceed business goals
- Ensure timely completion and accuracy of store logs and manuals including operations and product knowledge
- Implement and execute company initiatives and visual presentation strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and dress guidelines
- Train and develop Client Advisors Cashiers and Support Staff
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years luxury retail management experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in luxury retail environment
- Demonstrated responsibility ownership and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and team oriented skills
- Working knowledge of back of house operations including sales audit tasks
- Ability to analyze client data and support sales strategies
- Experience managing visual presentation and store merchandising
