Job Description

Summary

The Associate, Audit And Control (Cash Office) performs switchboard and general office duties while supporting cash office functions including accounts payable, daily balancing and internal services for the store. This role handles customer calls, financial reconciliations, petty cash management and supports audits to ensure procedural compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound customer calls and route or deliver messages per company standards
  • Maintain and update the location phone directory
  • Oversee repairs of technical systems such as point of sale
  • Perform banking reconciliation and invoice coding
  • Manage petty cash and investigate chargebacks
  • Track customer owned goods and no inventory value items
  • Maintain general office practices and a neat workplace to mitigate loss
  • Conduct departmental audits of company policies and procedures and follow up to ensure compliance
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years of related work experience, retail preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform reconciliations and financial support tasks
  • Bilingual English and French is an asset
