The Beauty Counter Manager is a results oriented sales and teaching role focused on maximizing sales for an assigned luxury beauty brand through personalized customer experiences in store and digitally. This role leads makeup applications, skincare consultations, vendor events, and maintains counter presentation while building customer loyalty and achieving sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products to meet customer beauty goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotional activities
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open new rewards accounts to build customer loyalty
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers
- Keep the department customer ready through organization and cleanliness
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and customer service
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns proactively
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and using technology for selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
