Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and conduct skincare analyses for customers
- Recommend products based on customer beauty goals and trends
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive results
- Keep the counter and department organized and customer-ready
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Open new customer rewards accounts to build loyalty
- Stay current on product knowledge through brand and company trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and communication skills
- Ability to proactively resolve customer concerns and support a positive team environment
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology for selling
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
- Capability to lift and handle items up to 25 pounds occasionally
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
