The Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for their assigned brand. This role combines sales, service, and teaching through makeup applications, skincare analyses, digital and in-store selling, and vendor collaboration to build customer loyalty and meet sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales targets using in-store and digital tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Keep counter and department organized and customer-ready
- Use text and social media to engage customers and grow a following
- Participate in trainings to stay current on beauty trends and products
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and proactive problem solving skills
- Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Ability to be on feet and perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
