The Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for an assigned luxury fragrance brand. This role combines selling and teaching through makeup application, skincare analysis, and digital and in-store customer engagement. The manager supports vendor events, maintains counter presentation, and builds lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and enroll customers in rewards program
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Empathy and respect for customers during applications
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability for continuous movement and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally
