Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences by engaging customers, conducting makeup applications and skincare analyses, and driving sales for luxury and on trend beauty brands. Support both in store and digital selling including appointment booking and use of social and text tools. Maintain a customer ready department through organization and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and perform skincare analyses to recommend products
• Engage customers to understand needs and build customer relationships in store and digitally
• Set and achieve sales goals and participate in in store beauty events and services
• Book appointments and drive attendance for beauty events and services
• Use selling tools including text and social media to support sales
• Manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges
• Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and product presentation
• Participate in trainings to stay current on trends and brand knowledge

Requirements

• Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
• Strong customer service and ability to connect with customers
• Empathy and respect when working with diverse customers
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and follow through on tasks
• Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand and move continuously 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
