Summary
Senior finance leader responsible for the financial strategy and performance for the Americas region, overseeing finance and IT operations, internal controls, budgeting, reporting and a matrixed team across multiple entities. This role partners with senior leadership, supports multiple legal entities and requires travel to regional offices including Irvine California.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and robust internal controls.
- Direct preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial reports for senior management.
- Lead financial controlling, variance analysis, cost control and profitability analysis.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and financial risk to support business growth.
- Oversee accounting activities, reconciliations and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.
- Oversee IT operations including major projects, information security and regulatory compliance.
- Build and lead a high performing finance and operations team through recruitment and development.
- Serve as strategic partner to senior leaders and participate in regional strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant financial experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In depth knowledge of financial accounting principles such as IFRS and GAAP.
- Proven experience establishing internal controls, audits and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and financial discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
