Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
- Provide expert style and fit guidance to customers and educate peers on brand trends and product knowledge
- Drive appointment based selling during event and non event timeframes
- Support merchandising tasks including stocking, remerchandising, displays, price markdowns and transfers
- Conduct DSA run product knowledge meetings and collaborate with surrounding departments
- Provide product feedback to the department manager to influence assortment
- Be flexible to assist in other departments or brands as business needs require
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish customer rapport
- Ability to excel in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Comfort working a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Ability to read sales reporting and use it to meet goals
- Strong product and fashion knowledge with ability to educate customers on brands and styling
- Confidence selling across a range of price points and demonstrating item value
- Organizational skills to strategically follow up with customers about wardrobe needs
- Physical ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform frequent bending and reaching
