Summary
Lead global marketing and communications for a major product category, developing long term strategy and localized campaign plans to grow market share worldwide. Partner with cross functional teams and international markets to deliver campaigns, content, media strategy, retail activations, and measurement frameworks. Manage junior marketing personnel and establish a global MarCom discipline and processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop global and localized marketing and communication plans for key product categories to increase market share
- Create consumer personas and journey maps to inform media and shopping strategies
- Build a multi year marketing calendar combining launches, campaigns, promotions, events, and holidays
- Lead global product launch campaigns and develop campaign briefs with the Marketing Strategy team
- Partner with Creative to define campaign architecture and review assets
- Define media mix and advertising recommendations and align with lead markets
- Develop content matrix for instore visuals, social, advertising, website, trade, emails, sampling, and events
- Support influencer strategy and partner with regional teams on events and collaborations
- Work with Analytics, Ecommerce, CRM, and Education teams to measure performance and support field marketing
Requirements
- 10 years experience in digital marketing, brand marketing, or strategy at a brand or agency
- Knowledge of the global beauty industry and international market dynamics
- Strong understanding of social media, influencer, and media landscapes
- Experience with retail and instore marketing and working with international teams
- Proven ability to develop KPI frameworks and analyze campaign performance
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
- Advanced MS Office skills including Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and drive results
