Summary
The Events Associate supports the Director of Events in executing events strategy and promotional activities for commercial and brand image initiatives across North America including directly owned stores, wholesale partners, high-end events and pop ups. The role manages multiple projects, coordinates logistics and provides on-site support when required while working in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Events team to arrange pre event logistics including invitations, client bios, catering, décor, photographers and audio visual
- Coordinate planning and execution of large scale initiatives such as high jewelry events, exhibitions and pop ups
- Provide on site event support and travel domestically as needed
- Track and monitor individual event budgets and process invoices and purchase orders
- Manage vendor relationships and new vendor setup
- Prepare event recaps, executive reports, monthly summaries and photo presentations
- Perform ROI analysis and review event effectiveness
- Liaise with internal teams including PR and Marketing to ensure cross functional execution
- Contribute to ad hoc projects to support client engagement and business needs
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in events or event marketing, preferably in luxury goods
- BA or BS degree or equivalent
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10 percent
- Strong organizational and creative problem solving skills
- Proven ability to coordinate events and adhere to brand standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with senior management and external partners
