Interim Asset Protection Coordinator - Topanga

Summary

Support loss prevention safety and security initiatives to safeguard company assets including property, merchandise, equipment and employees. Act as a point of contact for building personnel and visitors, monitor alarms and screenings, and respond to incidents with professionalism and urgency. Maintain logs for deliveries and coordinate with receiving and warehouse staff while operating security screening equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with building personnel and visitors in a professional manner
• Serve as liaison between arriving guests and warehouse staff, screening and confirming appointments
• Log truck arrivals and departures and validate inbound delivery information
• Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure appropriate response or dispatch
• Answer and transfer incoming calls to appropriate extensions
• Operate electronic walk-through and hand-held metal detectors as required
• Respond to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security with urgency
• Communicate with receiving department to stage or assign doors for deliveries
