Interim Beauty Counter Manager - Kenwood Towne Centre

Summary

Provide leadership and sales expertise for an assigned beauty brand at the store counter, delivering personalized makeup and skincare consultations while driving counter performance and customer loyalty. Manage scheduling and vendor events, maintain counter presentation, and use in-store and digital tools to achieve sales goals. Work in a commissioned retail environment with a focus on building customer relationships both in person and digitally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
• Recommend products and build customer followings through in-store and digital selling tools
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize results
• Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
• Maintain counter organization and cleanliness to keep department customer-ready
• Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
• Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns proactively

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare
• Excellent customer connection and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and follow through on responsibilities
• Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
• Physical ability to be on feet 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
