Job Description

Summary

As a Sales Assistant at Central Valley, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring the sales floor is organized and welcoming. Your efforts will contribute to a seamless shopping experience for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Process daily shipments of inventory and organize stock as needed.
  • Utilize UPS for processing all outgoing shipments.
  • Retrieve products from external stockrooms and manage excess inventory.
  • Assist sales associates by fetching products from the stockroom and returning unwanted items.
  • Maintain the sales floor by removing debris and ensuring displays are correctly arranged.
  • Monitor the front door during busy hours and manage customer lines.
  • Operate the POS system to complete customer transactions.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling transactions.
