Summary
Lead and manage a boutique sales team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve business objectives by executing the boutique business plan, controlling costs within budget and continually improving operating processes. Act as the link between sales, operations and clients, coaching and motivating the team to reach performance targets while maintaining a professional boutique image. Develop solutions to day-to-day and long-term challenges and represent the boutique internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Ensure every client receives exceptional service and act as a role model
- Identify and share best practice across the business and demonstrate teamwork
- Drive achievement of floor sales KPIs and department profit targets
- Manage discounts, costs and till transactional procedures within budget
- Performance manage floor colleagues, providing feedback and development
- Organize daily and weekly tasks, delegate and participate in routine duties
- Maintain visual merchandising to company standards and run VM changes
- Deliver and participate in floor training, e-learning and out of hours meetings
- Represent the boutique at internal and external meetings and undertake business travel
Requirements
- Proven retail management experience ideally within a luxury jewelry environment
- Proven track record of sales achievements and management results
- Jewelry product knowledge and comfort with high price points
- Advanced selling and negotiation skills and external jewelry or retail qualifications
- Ability to develop and implement business strategies and improve efficiencies
- Numerate with ability to analyze sales performance and manage operating costs
- Experience leading, mentoring and coaching high performing sales teams
- IT literate with proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office
