Summary
Support loss prevention, safety and security initiatives to safeguard company assets including property, merchandise, equipment and employees. Act as a point of contact for building personnel and visitors, monitor alarms and coordinate responses, and perform screening and logging of deliveries and guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with building personnel and guests in a professional manner
- Serve as a liaison between arriving guests and warehouse staff, including screening and confirming appointments
- Log information for trucks entering and leaving the building and coordinate with receiving
- Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure proper response or dispatching
- Answer and transfer incoming building calls to appropriate extensions
- Operate electronic walkthrough and handheld metal detectors as needed
- Respond with urgency to incidents related to loss prevention, safety and security
- Maintain confidentiality and ownership of security-related information
