Summary
The Seasonal Asset Protection Coordinator supports loss prevention, safety and security initiatives to safeguard company assets including property, merchandise, and employees. This role greets and screens building personnel and guests, monitors alarms, logs inbound and outbound deliveries, and operates security screening equipment with a focus on timely incident response.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with building personnel and guests in a professional manner
- Serve as liaison between arriving guests and warehouse staff, screening and confirming appointments
- Log information on trucks entering or leaving the building and validate inbound delivery details
- Communicate with receiving department and assign doors for deliveries as instructed
- Monitor building and fire alarms and ensure proper response or dispatch
- Answer and transfer incoming calls to appropriate extensions
- Operate electronic walk through and hand held metal detectors as needed
- Respond with urgency to incidents related to loss prevention safety and security
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise accountability in security matters
