Summary

Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations. Role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and comfort using inventory systems and technology. This is a seasonal retail position based in store with a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
• Deliver merchandise to selling departments and assist with relocating store fixtures
• Fulfill customer orders and prepare shipments following quality and packing standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments and research discrepancies
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store events setup, markdowns and general store needs
• Handle bulky items and perform frequent lifting and carrying as required

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort using various technology and computer applications
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to continuously move 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to lift frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
