Summary
Seasonal logistics role responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations to ensure timely and accurate inventory processing and excellent customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders promptly following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders meeting packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research and resolve merchandise shipment discrepancies
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store activities such as special events setup, markdowns, and fixture relocation
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort using various technologies and computer applications
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Reliable and results oriented with commitment to customer experience
