Summary

Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations during a temporary high-volume period. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to use inventory systems and technology while maintaining organized stockrooms and selling floors.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for distribution to selling areas
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments and organize backroom
• Fulfill customer orders promptly following quality and packing standards
• Prepare and ship customer orders in accordance with shipping procedures
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research shipments
• Assist with store support tasks such as markdowns, fixture relocation and event setup
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Frequently lift, carry and handle merchandise, including bulky or awkward items

Requirements

• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using various technology and new computer applications
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
