Summary

Seasonal retail stock associate responsible for receiving, processing and delivering merchandise to selling departments while supporting store operations and customer order fulfillment. Role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and use of inventory systems to maintain accurate stock and prepare shipments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
• Deliver new merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store activities such as special events setup, markdowns and relocating fixtures
• Lift and move merchandise, including frequent bending and reaching

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Comfort using various technologies and computer applications
• Flexible availability to work schedules based on business needs
• Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift with lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
