Summary
Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and preparing customer orders, and supporting store operations to ensure timely and accurate inventory flow and excellent customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
- Deliver merchandise to selling departments and maintain organized stockrooms
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies in accordance with control processes
- Assist with setting up special events and relocating store fixtures
- Perform markdowns and general backroom organization
- Maintain clean and safe selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store needs with a flexible schedule based on business demands
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using various technology and computer applications
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulating items
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items and lift above shoulder height
