Summary
Seasonal Valuations Representative prepares retail replacement documentation and insurance-related materials for clients, communicates with stores by email and telephone to resolve urgent orders and questions, and supports client operations and administrative tasks during peak periods.
Responsibilities
- Process insurance documentation including certificate packages, new sale entries, and retail price updates
- Maintain client information integrity by reviewing sales history and confirming ship to addresses
- Research merchandise and use gemological terminology to create accurate descriptions and retail replacement values
- Coordinate with other divisions to resolve client and pricing conflicts
- Ensure orders are updated to appropriate status within established timeframes
- Document order and customer information and report deviations to management
- Provide client and administrative support including departmental organization and inventory supply levels
- Assist with business reporting and special projects
- Respond to internal and external communications within established time frames
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Solid client service and organizational skills
- Ability to multi task and work collaboratively in a production environment
- Self motivated with ability to monitor own progress
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- Strong English reading and business writing skills
- Willingness to work extra hours during peak periods
- Familiarity with AS400 JDEdwards or Oracle systems preferred
- Knowledge of jewelry gemstones and luxury retail or customer service experience preferred
