Summary
Senior Manager Public Relations responsible for developing and delivering PR strategy for Men's and Women's product categories across North America, driving brand and product awareness through national, regional and online media, and aligning local initiatives with global brand priorities. The role partners with corporate and regional teams, manages media relations and oversees major press events and runway show organization. The position is based in Midtown Manhattan and requires four days per week on site.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement PR strategies for Men's and Women's product categories across North America.
- Maintain and build relationships with editors, stylists and key media contacts in North America.
- Coordinate national and regional press requests and placements with PR team members.
- Collaborate with Corporate PR Team, Paris office and regional teams on sample availability and placement needs.
- Plan and manage press around runway shows and product presentations, including seating and photographer coordination.
- Work with Merchandising to align product launch timelines with press strategies.
- Oversee presentation of Cruise and Prefall Collections to the press and coordinate with Special Events.
- Lead PR Managers and Assistants to execute regional press plans and secure editorial coverage.
- Travel internationally and nationally for shows and press events as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in public relations within high end fashion or luxury goods.
- Proven track record developing and executing strategic PR campaigns and securing editorial coverage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience managing teams and working with cross functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with PR management software and media monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of digital PR strategies and luxury retail landscape.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in sensitive communications.
- Willingness to travel and attend shows in Paris and other locations.
