Summary
The Stock Supervisor is responsible for supervising inbound and outbound merchandise and maintaining organized back of house stock and supply areas to maximize store productivity and support client advisors. This role ensures efficient replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor and enforces inventory control and loss prevention practices while representing the brand.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and supervise inbound and outbound merchandise processing and stockroom organization.
- Ensure timely receipt, tagging, deliveries and replenishment of products to the sales floor.
- Supervise transfers, inter store movements, returns to vendor and outgoing packages.
- Plan and undertake inventory operations and contribute to loss prevention and unknown markdown monitoring.
- Train and support stock keepers on system and stockroom procedures.
- Participate in daily store meetings and communicate business trends and updates.
- Manage store maintenance issues and coordinate with Corporate for resolution.
- Oversee staff uniforms, store materials and supplier coordination for orders and invoicing.
- Support cashier operations and be competent in cash procedures if needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of luxury retail sales experience.
- Experience with women's and men's ready to wear merchandise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Results driven with leadership capabilities and ability to supervise staff.
- Adaptable to a fast paced retail environment.
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and loss prevention standards.
- Ability to manage logistics tasks including shipping receiving and transfers.
