Job Description

Summary

The Stock Supervisor oversees inbound and outbound merchandise and maintains organization of back of house stock and supply areas to maximize store productivity. This role supports replenishment activities, loss prevention, inventory operations and acts as a role model for client service while liaising with Corporate on operational matters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stockroom organization and supervise flow of goods between storage and sales floor
  • Ensure timely receipt, tagging, replenishment and delivery of products and supplies
  • Plan and undertake inventory operations and monitor loss prevention
  • Control and supervise transfers, returns to vendor and other stock operations
  • Prepare new items for display in collaboration with client advisors
  • Train and support stock keepers on system and stockroom guidelines
  • Participate in daily store meetings and communicate business updates
  • Manage store materials, fixtures, uniforms and coordinate supplier orders
  • Support cashier team and be competent in cash procedures when needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of luxury retail sales experience
  • Experience with womens and mens ready to wear
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Results driven with leadership capabilities and adaptability
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of inventory control and loss prevention practices
  • Ability to coordinate shipments deliveries and paperwork accurately
